2025 DofE Considerations

2025 DofE T&C Considerations

Westermill is considering some notable changes with regard to our DofE booking process and Terms and Conditions.

Payment Deadlines

A. 30-Day payment deadline from date of the booking form submission

1. Please keep in mind that “far in advance” bookings are NOT required by Westermill Campsite — we will always make space available for DofE

B. Payment must be made before arrival — given the following consideration

1. Gold Groups may pay for themselves upon arrival — functionality for making such a notification is included in the form

C. Late payments may result in your institution being placed on the “Bad Bunny DofE” list

Purchase Order (PO) and Invoice Numbers (IN)

A. IF a PO or an IN is required by the booking institution, it is the responsibility of the person submitting the form to provide the necessary PO or IN number — in order to submit the form

B. IF a PO or an IN is required by the DofE institution and was not provided by the booking agent — which results in delay of payment beyond the timelines outlined above — it may result in your institution being placed on the “Bad Bunny DofE” list

Unsupervised Overnight Visits

A. Westermill Campsite has concerns regarding the number of “unsupervised” students staying overnight. The following link outlines some thinking on the issue:

B. Westermill Campsite Online Booking Form

1. The online booking form will ask the person submitting the form the following question – their response will be recorded for reference only.

“Have the participants’ parents or guardians been notified that the participants will NOT have institutional supervision overnight?”

YES – parents or guardians have been notified

NO – parents or guardians have not been notified

I Do Not Know – if parents or guardians have been notified
